The heart of YRO's gameplay lies in building your guild on a 3x3 grid that dynamically expands during the game. Each adventurer you recruit will bring a Combat Value, essential for overcoming opponents and earning valuable points each turn. But that's not all: your heroes will also generate Magic and Technology Resource points, crucial for unlocking increasingly powerful abilities, and Gold, indispensable for hiring new and valiant members for your guild. Every positioning decision is crucial, directly influencing your chances of accumulating strategic resources and advancing towards final victory.

The true strategic depth of YRO emerges in combat management and the synergies among your adventurers. The combat value of your entire team is determined by the front row of your grid, making strategic positioning a key element. But the ingenuity doesn't stop there: by recruiting three adventurers in a row who share the same Faction and/or Profession, you will unlock powerful synergistic bonuses capable of turning the tide of battle. Rules

YRO is a board game for 1-5 players with a duration of approximately 30 minutes. The main objective is to build your guild by recruiting adventurers from YRO's various factions, such as the Isles of the Rising Sun, the Wood Conclave, the Wandering Market, or the Mining Company. The aim is to form a powerful group capable of completing the most lucrative missions and leading your guild to final victory.

During the game, players recruit adventurers and place them in a 3x3 grid that is progressively built. Each adventurer possesses several characteristics: a Combat Value, which awards points each turn if higher than that of opponents; Magic and Technology resource points, useful for unlocking powerful abilities; Gold for recruiting new members; and Victory Points, essential for final victory. The combat value of your group is specifically determined by the adventurers in the front row of the grid.

Strategy is crucial, as the wise placement of adventurers is fundamental. When three adventurers in a row are recruited who share the same Faction and/or Profession, a powerful bonus effect is unlocked. This makes the arrangement in the grid a key element for maximizing your capabilities and gaining a competitive advantage against opponents. Accumulating Victory Points through combat, resources, and bonus effects will lead to final victory.
