Undaunted: Battle of Britain is a two-player board game that recreates the dynamic aerial combat of World War II. One player assumes command of the Royal Air Force (RAF), while the other leads the German Luftwaffe, challenging each other for control of the skies in the summer of 1940. The heart of the game is a deck-building mechanic, where players build and manage their decks of cards to represent and activate their pilots and their abilities during the game.
Each turn, players draw cards from their deck to determine which units to activate and which actions to perform. Key actions include:
- Moving their aircraft on the modular map tiles that make up the battlefield.
- Engaging in combat against enemy aircraft.
- Using special abilities of their pilots, including the most talented "aces".
D10 dice are used to resolve the outcomes of actions and combat, introducing an element of luck and strategy.
