Immerse yourself in the heart of an epochal conflict with Hegemony: Lead Your Class to Victory, a compelling asymmetric board game that plunges you into a nation on the brink of collapse. A dismantled welfare system, declining profits for capitalists, a vanishing middle class, and a state in deep deficit: this is the chaotic scenario in which you will take the reins. Will you be the leader capable of tackling this social clash, choosing to side with the working class for social reforms, or to support corporations and the free market? Your skill in political strategy will decide the country's fate.

Designed for 2-4 players, Hegemony assigns you the role of one of four distinct socio-economic groups: the Working Class, the Capitalist Class, the Middle Class, or the State itself. Each faction offers unique asymmetric mechanics and distinct objectives. The Working Class controls workers, the Capitalist Class manages businesses, while the Middle Class combines elements of both, with its own workers and the possibility of founding small enterprises. The State, for its part, seeks to balance everyone's needs, providing subsidies and maintaining a constant flow of tax revenues to avoid debt. This extended edition includes the Crisis & Control expansion.

Although each class pursues its own goals, all players are bound and influenced by a series of crucial state policies, such as taxation, the labor market, and foreign trade. Voting on these policies and strategically using one's influence to modify them are fundamental elements of the game. Through careful planning, targeted actions, and astute political maneuvers, you will need to maximize your class's power and implement your agenda.
