Immerse yourself in the deepest darkness of space with Space Hulk: Death Angel – The Card Game, a thrilling cooperative game that catapults you directly into the iconic universe of Warhammer 40,000. Prepare your squad of Space Marines to face a relentless alien invasion aboard a derelict spaceship, infested by hordes of lethal Genestealers. Your mission is clear: purify the derelict cruiser or perish in the attempt.
In this intense board game, 1 to 6 players will take on the roles of heroic Space Marines, choosing from six different combat teams, each composed of two Space Marines with unique abilities. Each player receives three Action cards for each of their teams, preparing for the first wave of Genestealers. With a duration of approximately 60 minutes per game, and published in 2010 by Fantasy Flight Games, the gameplay is fast-paced and easy to learn, yet deep in strategy.
Each game unfolds through a series of rounds, divided into crucial phases. During the "Choose Actions" phase, each player must secretly determine which of their three Action cards (Support, Attack, or Move + Activate) they wish to play for their Space Marines. Strategic choice is fundamental, as you will not be able to select the same card in the next round. The action resolution phase keeps everyone engaged, with the lowest numbered cards being resolved first, ensuring that support actions can precede attacks. Support tokens allow your Space Marines to re-roll dice, making cooperation among your Battle-Brothers essential for survival.
After all actions have been resolved, the chilling Genestealer assault phase begins. You'll have to hope you've thinned out the swarms, as to defend successfully you'll need to roll higher than the number of Genestealers in the swarm. Finally, an Event card is drawn, introducing new alien threats and repopulating zones. Once all Genestealers have emerged from the darkness, it's time to advance, drawing a new location card and diving back into the heart of combat. Can you lead your Space Marines to victory against overwhelming odds and ensure humanity's survival?

Space Hulk: Death Angel – The Card Game is a cooperative game for 1 to 6 players, lasting approximately 60 minutes, set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Players take on the role of Space Marines, members of the Blood Angels' extermination squads, with the objective of clearing a spaceship infested by hordes of Genestealers. Each player selects one or more squads of two Space Marines, each with unique abilities, and receives three Action cards for each squad.
The game unfolds in a series of rounds, each divided into several phases:
- Action Selection Phase: Each player secretly chooses one of the three Action cards (Support, Attack, or Move + Activate) for their Space Marines. The chosen card cannot be used in the next round.
- Action Resolution Phase: Action cards are revealed and resolved in ascending numerical order (Support precedes Attack). Support tokens allow players to re-roll dice for defense.
- Genestealer Attack Phase: The Genestealers attack. To defend successfully, players must roll a die higher than the number of Genestealers in the swarm.
- Event Phase: An Event card is drawn, causing new alien enemies to appear.
