Dune: Imperium – Uprising is a strategy game that blends deck-building and worker placement mechanics, set in the Dune universe. Players compete for control of Arrakis, balancing military power and political intrigue to accumulate victory points. Each turn unfolds through several phases in which players draw cards from their hand, use them to send agents to specific board spaces, and acquire new cards, thereby improving their deck.
The game cycle generally includes:
