King of Tokyo
Game Description
Get ready to unleash fury in King of Tokyo, the famous board game that will catapult you into the heart of a devastated metropolis! Take on the role of giant monsters, mutant robots, or bizarre aliens, all with a single goal: conquer Tokyo and annihilate the competition to become the undisputed King. This dynamic and engaging title is perfect for game nights filled with fun and epic battles, offering a fast but intense experience.
The heart of the gameplay revolves around an intuitive yet deep dice-rolling mechanism. At the start of each turn, you will roll six custom dice, with symbols that allow you to accumulate victory points, gain valuable energy, heal your wounds, or unleash devastating attacks against your opponents. With three consecutive rolls at your disposal, you'll have to decide which dice to keep and which to re-roll, testing your strategy and your luck. But beware: the fiercest player, the one who dares to take control of Tokyo, will earn extra victory points, but will have to face all other monsters alone and cannot heal!
To further enrich the action, you can purchase special cards using accumulated energy. These cards offer permanent or temporary effects, such as gaining an extra die, enhanced armor, or death rays, which can drastically change the tide of battle. Victory can be yours in two ways: by accumulating 20 victory points or by being the last monster standing after all others have been defeated. An unmissable game for action and competition lovers, designed by IELLO in 2011.

Rules - King of Tokyo
In King of Tokyo, players take on the role of mutant monsters, giant robots, or aliens, all intent on destroying the city and defeating opponents to become the sole and undisputed King of Tokyo. The game's objective is twofold: accumulate 20 Victory Points or be the last monster standing after eliminating all opponents. The game is suitable for 2-6 players and lasts approximately 30 minutes.
Each turn, a player rolls six special dice, which show symbols such as Victory Points (1, 2, 3), Energy, Heal, and Attack. Players have up to three successive rolls, choosing which dice to keep or re-roll. The dice results allow players to:
- Gain Victory Points
- Obtain Energy
- Restore health
- Attack other monsters
The monster occupying Tokyo gains additional Victory Points, but cannot heal and becomes the target of all other monsters simultaneously.
Accumulated Energy can be spent to purchase special cards. These cards offer permanent or temporary effects, such as gaining an additional die, armor, or deadly rays, adding strategy and unpredictability to the conflict. The combination of dice rolls, health management, and card purchasing makes every game explosive and dynamic, until a monster achieves victory.
