Rules - 7 Wonders (Second Edition)
7 Wonders (Second Edition) is a board game for 3-7 players with a duration of approximately 30 minutes. The game unfolds over three "Ages" (rounds) during which participants build and develop their city. The central mechanic is card drafting, which allows for simultaneous play without downtime. Each player starts with a hand of cards and, in each turn:
- Secretly chooses a card to play.
- Reveals their choice and applies its effect.
- Passes the remaining cards to the adjacent player.
The cards represent various buildings to construct, such as resource producers, civil, commercial, military, scientific structures, and guilds. These constructions allow players to advance their civilization and gain bonuses. At the end of each Age, players engage in military confrontations with their direct neighbors, earning victory or defeat tokens.
At the end of the three Ages, Victory Points (VP) are calculated. VPs are accumulated through one's wonder, constructed buildings, military strength, and owned coins. The player with the highest score is declared the winner of the game.
